"This is the true joy in life, the being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one; the being a force of nature instead of a feverish, selfish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy.

I am of the opinion that my life belongs to the whole community, and as long as I live it is my privilege to do for it whatever I can.

I want to be thoroughly used up when I die, for the harder I work the more I live. I rejoice in life for its own sake. Life is no “brief candle” for me. It is a sort of splendid torch which I have got hold of for the moment, and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations."

I have been there...I understand...I care...

I am a Clinical Nutritionist with two graduate degrees - M.Ed in Teaching, and M.S. Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine.

In fact, my graduate program is the first program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Nutrition Professional Education (ACNPE) - the accrediting body for GRADUATE programs in advanced nutrition. This organization offers a groundbreaking opportunity to distinguish Master's degree clinical programs that are shaping the future of nutrition and our nation's health.

My extensive education and work experience in the Health Care Industry, as well as going through my own health challenges, complete my own health professional/patient circle – allowing me to provide you with the most advanced tools and methods you need to achieve your health goals.

I have worked in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry for over 20 years, mostly in the field of Acute Cardiac Care, Electrophysiology (Pacemakers and  Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators - ICDs ) and Acute Hospital Care environments. Needless to say, the strong grip of Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Industry on our Healthcare System left me bitterly disappointed and looking for answers elsewhere.

Having witnessed the deteriorating state of health in my own family, my close friends, as well as in my immediate community and our county as a whole, challenged me to seek yet another advanced degree in trying to understand the relationship between body’s biochemistry and the environmental factors that affect it.

I strongly believe (and the science is overwhelmingly proving it to us all), that our SAD (Standard American Diet) is responsible for the majority of chronic disease that is affecting our families and our society physically, emotionally, financially and socially.

My own health journey to finding what is wrong and what is right for ME personally, has given me insight into the many challenges one encounters.  Some of the most important and valuable lessons I have learned: be patient, be kind to your body, follow you GUT feeling...

In addition to nonstop education in the Health Sciences for the past 20 years, my own experience enabled me to acquire a higher level of empathy, respect, and awareness towards the miracle called human body.

It also brought me towards the field of Functional Medicine, which incorporates all the best traditions and scientific protocols of Conventional, Integrative, Holistic and Lifestyle Medicine to date.
